ソニック & ナックルズ Halloween Poster

In the spirit of Halloween, here’s another poster from my retro Sonic series. This one features a slightly obscure character from Sonic and Knuckles – the Hyudoro. If you know your Sonic, you’ll recognize these ceratoid headed ghosts from the Sandopolis Zone, Act II. The poster features a slightly obfuscated flock of four Hyudoro in full-horned anger mode – their sprites were ripped directly from the game ROM. Below them is the Japanese Sonic and Knuckles title (Sonikku & Nakkuruzu) and some various excerpts from the Japanese game manual (which, no surprise, is much better looking than the US manual!) I used Japanese to give it that Japanese horror movie poster feel. The poster is 18x24in, laminated heavy matte.

Cut the lights to reveal the Hyudoro in all their glory. (Works best with a black-light, but it also glows in the dark.)
