Greetings! I am Skylarkk. I’m an artist living in sweltering, mosquito-infested Miami, Florida. I dabble in a great number of things, but most of those things fall under the category of artistic and technical. Writing, painting, drawing, graphic design, music composition, game design, hardware modding, computer construction.
I’m highly influenced by the aesthetic of the grunge movement from the early nineties, as well as the gaming subculture that sprung from the mid eighties to early nineties as well. Musically I am influenced by everything from classical to dance music. I have a particular fondness for electronic music, or the integration of electronic elements into acoustic or traditional music. My musical and aesthetic fondness also extends to vintage gaming systems (such as the NES, Game Boy, SEGA Genesis), with which I make a variety of chip related music.
